An exception to this may occasionally occur with our embroidered items---which are custom-made and may need up to two weeks to obtain and ship. Handling Fee Our "shipping" charges do include a small handling fee ($1.95 per item), to enable us to provide top-flight packaging for our products and prompt shipments. Shipping Insurance Our experience is that most shipments go through without problem. That's why we do not generally insure packages. However, on more-expensive items such as our jewelry, we highly recommend that they be insured---since we can not be responsible for any item lost or damaged by the post office.
